Space still available for the 8th Annual Texas Pinball Festival outdoor Coin-Op Swap Meet

The Texas Pinball Festival is hosting our 8th annual Texas Arcade/Pinball Swap Meet in the front parking lot of the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center from 8:00am-12 noon, Saturday March 14th. Admission to the Swap Meet/Flea Market is free to all guests. Vendors are welcome to bring anything coin-op related (pins, vids, jukes, slots, parts and project machines for this outdoor event. Got a machine taking up space in your garage? Too many projects? Too many parts? Bring'em to the swap meet! This space is available on a first come first serve basis. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COIN OP SWAP MEET.

Make a weekend out of the Texas Pinball Festival and stay at the beautiful Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas where the Texas Pinball Festival is being held.

Things are starting to ramp up for the 2009 Texas Pinball Festival as it's now just 8 weeks away. We are pleased to announce that FUN! We've revamped our Kids Pinball Tournament to make it better than ever for the little pinball wizards to play.

INTRODUCING THE

Children ages 4-12 are welcome to compete in this competition. Per each $5 entry, kids will play two games on a new Stern Pinball Machine. The child's best score will be recorded to the leader board. Children can enter this competition as many times as they wish to try to bump off other players and advance on top of the leader board. This tournament will conclude at 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 14th with prizes and trophies awarded to the children with the top 1st, 2nd and 3rd Highest Scores.

Time of event: Qualifying - Friday, March 13th - 10:00 am - 1:00 am Qualifying - Saturday, March 14th - 10 am - 4:30 pm Trophy presentation to highest scoring children - Saturday, March 14th - 5:00 pm

AWARDS 1st Place - Grand Prize!  2nd Place Trophy and $50 Gift Card to Toys "R" Us 3rd Place Trophy and $25 Gift Card to Toys "R" Us NOTE: Grand Prize Winner and their parents/guardian will be responsible for making their own arrangements to have the Kings of Steel Pinball Machine moved from the Texas Pinball Festival to its final destination. Organizers of the Texas Pinball Festival will not be held responsible for delivering/shipping the pinball machine.

Over $1000 in prize money being award to pinball machines!

Unlike any other pinball show in the world, we're kicking it up a notch at the 2009 Texas Pinball Festival. We know how difficult it is to bring a pinball machine to a pinball show, and what better why to make it worth while than to award those that do. So in an effort for exhibitors to not only bring more, but also better quality pinball machines for people to play, we'll be awarding over $1000 in prize money to Best of Show winner machines. Prizes will be awarded based off of their condition and playability in a variety of categories.  Please click on the following links for more information on the Best of Show competitions or if you'd like to bring a machine to the Festival. 

So how do you rank among other pinball players from around the world? 

You'll have your opportunity at the 2008 Texas Pinball Festival. The IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) has recognized the Texas Pinball Festival and has endorsed the "Texas State Pinball Championship", "Classic Pinball" and "Electro-Mechanical Pinball Tournaments". Players who compete in these events at the Texas Pinball Festival will receive World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points and will be recognized on www.pinballrankings.com
