and turn the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive
Conference Center into
one of the largest game rooms in Texas! Over
10,000 square feet of pure game room fun,
all weekend long! There will be over 100 pinball
machines, classic video games and other game room goodies set up on free play for everyone to enjoy the entire
weekend. Leave your quarters at home! The Texas Pinball Festival will also feature many vendors and
collectors from the area bringing parts, supplies, game room memorabilia,
pinball machines, slot machines, jukeboxes and classic video games for sale. TOURNAMENTS
Do you have what it takes to be a pinball wizard?
A variety of adult and children's tournaments
will be conducted throughout the weekend to test your pinball skills against others for
trophies and cash prizes.
COIN-OP SWAP MEET
And if inside wasn't fun enough....Check out the bargains
at the Coin-Op Swap Meet. Saturday, March 15th from 8:00am until 12:00pm we will be hosting an
outdoor flea market/swap meet catering to coin operated collectibles located in the
front parking lot of the Hilton DFW Lakes where the Texas Pinball Festival is being held. Admission to the Swap Meet/Flea Market is free to all guests. Got a machine taking up space in your garage? opens to the public, we'll launch our LIVE
TPF Web Link featuring live footage of the Texas Pinball
Festival as it happens. Well be streaming a web cam at the TPF
as well as constant online updates of the current tournament
standings and winners. |

| Kids...Win
a pinball machine!
We've
revamped our Kids Pinball Tournament to make it better than
ever for the little pinball wizards to play.
INTRODUCING
THE

Children
ages 4-12 are welcome to compete in this competition.
Per each $3 entry, kids will play two games on the new
Wheel of Fortune Pinball Machine by Stern Pinball Inc.
The childs best score will be recorded to the leader
board. Children can enter this competition as many times
as they wish to try to bump off other players and
advance on top of the leader board. This tournament will
conclude at 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 15th with prizes
and trophies awarded to the children with the top 1st,
2nd and 3rd Highest Scores. |

Pinball Artist - Greg Freres
 We
are pleased to announce one of the great pinball artists of
the past 20+ years, Greg Freres will be doing a presentation
on Saturday, March 15 entitled "Pinball Art from the
Inside".
Join Greg, as he'll talk
about his days working for two of the leading pinball
companies in Chicago as a project artist, art director, and
idea guy. Get a close-up look at what went into the art and design
process of creating legendary pinball machines. Some of the
classics Greg Freres is most known for include: Scared
Stiff, Revenge from Mars, Star Trek: The Next Generation,
Fathom, and Medieval Madness (to name a few.) Greg will
share his unique experiences involving pinball development
throughout the 80's and 90's. Following Greg's presentation
will be a question and answer session followed by
autographs. Buy a personally autographed flyer or
translite from Greg or bring your own memorabilia for him to
sign.

Unlike any other pinball show
in the world, we're kicking it up a notch at the 2008 Texas
Pinball Festival. We know how difficult it is to bring a
pinball machine to a pinball show, and what better why to make
it worth while than to award those that do. So in an effort
for exhibitors to not only bring more, but also better quality
pinball machines for people to play, we'll be awarding over
$900 in prize money to Best of Show winner machines. Prizes
will be awarded based off of their condition and playability

(International Flipper Pinball Association) has recognized the
Texas Pinball Festival
and has endorsed the "Texas State
Pinball Championship", "Classic

"Electro-Mechanical Pinball Tournaments". Players who

receive World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points and will be
